The Sound of Paella

Cooking as a collective sound performance: the cooking of a paella is amplified and musically interpreted with the help of microphones and electronic effects devices. In the laboratory “The Making of the Sound of Paella”, the instruments, microphones, electronic circuits and effects will be built, tested and rehearsed together in an open working session. At the subsequent evening concert performance, the paella is prepared and the live soundtrack is brought to the stage as a sound performance.
